Welcome to our site!

A Californian native I know didn’t believe me when I told him about chiggers and he went walking thru the local woods. The next day he was a believer! His poor legs were covered. He itched and squirmed like a little girl. Didn’t even question me when I handed him the Listerine to rub down on his legs. Thought that Listerine was the miracle of modern medicine!
I would like to start off by telling you that we are not “hard-core political” preppers. We are not very political. We are a family living in the northwest corner of your Arkansas map. We farm. We have a few head of livestock. We have a few chickens and guineas for eggs and to control the tick and chiggers. (And YES! Chiggers do exist.) We have honey bees. We had a natural “organic” garden before it was “cool” to be organic. We have a small orchard and a small greenhouse. We cut and haul hay. We even supply a little electric from solar power and water from a ram pump. All on our 25 acres of Dream E Farm.

We want to help others to do the types of things we do. We can and preserve. We re-load bullets. We know a little about growing gardens and natural / organic means of pest control. We sew and quilt. We hatch eggs with either an incubator or a broody hen. We also want to spread the knowledge that others have. We know blacksmiths and flint knappers. We are friends with an artist that built her home from feed sacks and warms it with twigs.

There is no apiary supply business anywhere within a couple of hours of us. The canning and preserve shops are all a department of a big box store now, just like the quilting and material shops. There is no one to teach the old ways anymore, unless you are lucky enough to come from a family that your mom or grandma are around and know the old ways.

This is what got us started. We want to teach and supply materials for others. Whether you consider the “Prepper”, “Survivalist”, “Organic Grower”, or any other title you see as self-descriptive, we want to help you and get help from you for the things we all may need. Come on in to see how things work.
